Angélique Béatrice Touenguéné-Nlend is a Cameroonian who was born in Akonolinga, in the Cameroon Centre region.She graduated from the University of Rouen Mont Saint Aignan, where she successively obtained a bachelor’s degree, a Masters in Literature and a Diplôme d’études approfondies or DEA (Diploma of Profound Studies) in modern literature.In 2000, Angélique became the ^1stfemale Director of all the 4 ports of Cameroon. Currently, she is a senior Officer within The PAD General Directorate. She is the ^1st Female President of Sports and Leisure Committee at the Port Authority of Douala.

Angélique is Director and ^1st Female chair of the board of directors of Professional training schools’ group in Maritime and Port Estuary Sector: GEPMARE, located in Douala.

Member of WIMAFRICA and WimaCameroon She is also a Knight of the National Order of Valor.
