Established in 2009, the African Alliance for Electronic Commerce (AAEC) is the secular arm and strategic mainstay of Single Windows in Africa. It is aimed at promoting the concept of national and regional Single Windows as per the recommendations of international institutions including the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Customs Organization (WCO). On the whole, the Alliance is composed of 20 Member Countries.
The International Single Window Conference is a platform of exchanges on the Single Window concept. It seeks to gather stakeholders from the various regions of the world, with contributions from countries boasting some experience in the matter, countries willing to showcase their SW project; international bodies supporting the establishment of Single Windows and international experts.
